Starting to feel like a game!


I've been working on the nudging the rot.js skeleton demo from my previous posts towards the content and mechanics designed for this game. I've only managed to work on it mornings, nights, and weekends, and it's taken a long time to start to look like anything.  But today it is starting to feel like a game!  The map progresses, it has multiple types of terrain, and the mechanics are becoming functional.  This is an exciting moment, as it is the first glimpse of what the game actually is, and I can't wait to fill in more content.
